When Sydney's June lockdown hit, Daar Al-Wafa had to adapt quickly and creatively to meet the needs of our Arabic School students. The teachers were keen to upskill themselves to cater for their students; they took to Zoom, where they were able to deliver virtual lessons to scores of students in an interactive and engaging way. These lessons were so well-received, that many had parents participating with their students as well. Teachers prepared hands-on activities, and incentivised student participation through competitions and rewards for all who took part.
One particular class made wonderful noun and verb flowers to learn to differentiate between these parts of speech.
